Join in the UK's Sweariest Map yeah?
From the Periodic Table of Swearing to the Mersey Addendum, we’ve spent years turning filthy data into charts and interactive art, mapping out the edges of dirt coming out of people’s mouths.
Now, in collaboration with Dr Chris Montgomery and the University of Sheffield, we’re ramping it right up. The UK Swear Map is the first serious attempt to document regional swearing across the whole country, this collaboration lets us map the UK’s isolated linguistic pockets with proper academic rigour, yeah?
The end goal is to join up these hidden worlds into a definitive, push-button, wall-mounted map of the national swear mind.
